Sick Cat
My cat is probably going to die very soon. She isnt eating and can barely walk. She isnt in any pain though and trust me, she is the sort who would let the world know if she were. So for now, I am not going to take her in to be put to sleep since her least favorite thing in the world is to go anywhere in a car but she especially always hated going to the vet's office. She's 19 years old. It is the end of an era of my life, for sure.

Do you remember the wisdom of us getting our pets all at once so they could grow up together? I wonder at the wisdom becuase now we watch the grow old at the same time. I sure hope that she is having a nice peacful end of her time. My thoughts are with you.

do some looking around, lynne. i'm pretty sure you can find a vet willing
to make a home visit when you and ginger feel that it's time. way better than
the car trip.
she'll be fine.

That is a good suggestion, Barry. But although she is still alive, she is a little bit "out of it" at the moment. I think she isnt quite aware of her surroundings. Still no pain or anything but if she makes it through the night, I think that I'll see if I can get that vet office on Ecorse Rd to squeeze me in tomorrow. I think she has gotten to the point where she wont really know what is going on. The real question is if I'll be able to do it even though she doesnt seem to be in any pain. Blah.
