Think of the Children

Think of the Children

So today, after enduring 45 mins on the bus with a screaming child, a man at the bus station stopped me and asked me if I was interested in saving children. I told him "no thank you" It was only after walking away that I realized that I had said "no thank you" in the exact same tone I might have used if he had just asked me if I would like him to take a crap in my hand. Oops.

DOH! It's easy to become hardened and automatically assume that some one is trying to pull a fast one.

45 minute bus ride with a screeming child, I'd have probably said No Way...Kill em all!! even though I wouldn't really mean it!!!

So you're saying that you might consider having someone take a crap in your hand?

lol! i hate that phrase "saving the children". what does that even mean? its like "the war on terror" or some other ambiguous phrase.
sorry about the screaming kid. if it were mine, i'd get off the bus, pronto.
